2007/08 Hampshire Plate Winners 2007/08
‘Rugby for all’ Rugby has been said to be
the ultimate team game – it can be fast, fluid and physically hard. It tests and hopefully advances
the personal attributes of all involved – continually. At Eastleigh RFC we measure
success by the personal improvement of the individual and collectively, the squad and the Club. Winning is a hopeful consequence
but not everything. The relationship between everyone involved in Eastleigh RFC is critical
to the clubs well being. RESPECT for oneself and each other is central to the ethos of Eastleigh RFC In particular, the player’s
code is based on RESPECT for their fellow players, coach’s, referees and opponents. In return, they should expect respect
for their personal efforts and achievements. If individuals cannot show
this respect then their involvement in the club should be questioned.
