Club Membership 2008/09

Annual Senior Playing Membership
1. Membership runs from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009.
2. All old and new Players must complete a 2008/09 Senior Playing
Membership Application Form.
3. The Annual Playing fee is £45 [ Senior & Veteran ] or £25 [ Full time Student
under 21 ] and payment in part or full is due on completion of the Senior Playing Membership Form.
4. Part payments of the annual fee will be accepted up to 1 Octber
2008, but no later.
5. Players who have not paid their annual fee in full by 1 October
2008 are not covered by the RFU Insurance Scheme taken out by the Club.
6. Any Player who has not paid his annual fee in full by 1 October
2008 will not be selected to play ahead of a fully paid-up Playing member.
7. A ’Membership Card and Fixture List’ will only be
issued to members who have paid at least part of their annual fee.
8.
The Playing fee for players joining or leaving half way through the season will be determined by the Membership Secretary.
League Rugby Registration
8. Old and new Players will not be registered to play League Rugby unless they have completed the 2008/09 Senior
Playing Membership Form, and paid part or all of their Annual Fee.
Vice President Membership
9. There is a separate Membership Form for Vice Presidents [ see downloads below ].
10. The Annual Vice President Fee of £55 is payable in full on joining the Club before
1 January 2009. A pro-rata Fee will apply there after. Membership is open to all non-playing Club Supporters
11. The Life Vice President Fee of £250 is payable in full on joining the Club. Membership is open to both players
and non-playing Club Supporters. Players however must also complete the Senior Playing Membership Form for League Registration
purposes, but don’t have to pay the Annual Playing Membership Fee.
General Conditions of Membership
12. A ’Membership Card and Fixture List’ will only
be issued to Members who have paid at least part of their Annual Fee.
13. The Membership Secretary will keep an up-to-date database of
all Club Members. A ‘confidential’ hard copy will also be kept in the Clubhouse as required of a plc.
14. All Club Members shall benefit from the Club facilities and be able to hire those facilities when available
at a reduced rate.
15. All Club Members will be able to apply for International tickets as notified to Members throughout the season.
16. All Club Members will have AGM voting rights.
Code of Conduct
17. New and existing Club Members should be aware of the Code of Conduct outlined in the Membership Card
& Fixture list booklet. This Code clearly specifies, and lists, the type of behaviour the Club will not tolerate under
any circumstances. Members should be understand that this Club could be held responsible/answerable to the Rugby Football
Union for the actions of its members in respect of misconduct outlined in the Code of Conduct.
18. Club Members agree to abide by the Club rules [ copy available from Hon Secretary ] when they sign the appropiate
Membership Application Form. If a Member does not abide by the Club rules, or brings the Club into disrepute, a Disciplinary
Committee appointed by the Club will hear the facts of the allegation/s and as a result Membership may be withdrawn.
